Divisions help you organize your company’s structure more effectively by grouping related departments or business units. Synergita allows administrators to easily create, update, assign parent nodes, or deactivate divisions based on organizational needs.
This article explains how to manage divisions step-by-step.
The steps to create a new division are as follows:
- Navigate to
Admin ->Organization structure->Divisions
1. Click the Add Button-A new editable row will appear under each column, allowing you to enter the department details.
2. Enter Division Information-Provide the following details:
- Division Name
- Description (optional, for additional clarity)
3. Assign a Parent Node -If the division belongs under a specific company or another division, select the appropriate Parent Node.This helps maintain an accurate multi-level organizational hierarchy.
4. Activate or Deactivate a Division
You may deactivate a division when it is not currently used.
You can reactivate it later if needed.
This prevents unused divisions from appearing in employee profiles or configuration areas.
5. Save the New Division-Click Save to complete the creation process.
Once saved, the division becomes available for selection in the Organization Structure of employee profiles.
Note : Deleting Divisions-Synergita does not support permanent deletion of divisions to maintain data integrity.
Instead, use the Deactivate option to hide or remove them from active use.
Editing an Existing Division
Locate the division you want to modify.
Click the row to open it in editable mode.
Update the division name, description, parent node, or status as needed.
Save your changes.
All updates will reflect immediately across the system.
