For the Synergita OKR Jira integration to accurately detect and manage users, it is crucial that each user's email address visibility in Jira is set to public. If an email address is not visible to the public, Synergita OKR cannot retrieve it via the Jira API, preventing the system from matching users between the two platforms. This article provides instructions for administrators to communicate to their users.


Instructions for Users

Please follow these steps in your Jira account to ensure your email address is visible for the Synergita OKR integration:

  1. Log in to your Jira account.
  2. Navigate to your Account Settings. This can be found by clicking on your profile avatar in the top right corner.

  1. On the Account Settings page, find and click on Profile and Visibility tab.
  2. Locate the Email Address field.
  3. In the "Who can see this?" column next to your email address, ensure that the setting is set to "Anyone".

This will ensure that the user is accessible by Synergita OKR.
