Promotion Status Report is an important report that helps HR to keep up-to-date with the promotion status of the nominees or employees. It summarizes the status of all the approval levels and publish status with respect to the employees during a particular time. This report displays in the grid form with the promotion status i.e., First Level Approval, Second Level Approval, Third Level Approval, Yet to Publish, Publish, etc., as configured in the system based on the business requirements.

To access the report

  • Navigate to Reports > Manage Reports

  • Under Performance Management, click Promotion Status Report

  • In the default view, the Promotion Status Report page displays the grid with nomination history details respective to the employees or nominees arranged by nominated on date descending order.

  • To apply filters to the report, click Filter. Filter by pop-up window appears.

  • Select the filter criteria you require to filter the data from the available filters. The filters include 

    • Nominated On: Filters the report based on chosen nominated date range
    • Promotion Status: Filters the report by approval level and publish status
    • Basic Details: Filters the report by employee number, employee name, employee type, DOJ, etc.
    • Organization Units: Filters the report by the selected business units.
    • Location: Filters the report by employees' job location
    • Contact Details: Filters the report by employee's email, IM Id, etc
    • Active Status: Filters and generate report for all, active or inactive employees regardless of their status 


  • You can also add or remove the field filters to customize report data views.

  • To configure display fields, click Configuration respective to the report.

  • Select and move the labels identifying employee promotion nomination details from Available Fields to Display Fields that must appear in the report and click Update.

  • To export the report data, Click the Export with mail sending icon. The system prompts to inform you that the report will be mailed to the registered email address.
