As an HR Administrator, you can reset an employee’s account password using the Manage Users page. This functionality is helpful in cases where users forget their credentials or require a password update due to security policies. 


Resetting an Individual Employee's Password:

  • Log in to the system with your HR Administrator credentials.


  • Navigate to Admin > Users & Password Management (under User Management)





  • Search the employee by username name and Select the Employee to reset their password.


 


  • Click the Action tab dropdown.


  • Select Reset Password.




  • A new set of login credentials is automatically generated, post clicking the Reset Password.


  • These credentials are sent to the employee's official registered email address.


Resetting Passwords in Bulk for Multiple Employees:

  • Log in as an HR Administrator.


  • Navigate to Admin > Users & Password Management (under User Management)



  • Click Add File next to Import employee to be filtered.




  • Download the Default Template (Excel).




  • Fill in the template with the required employee data, ensuring it includes Email IDs.

 



  • Click Choose File to upload the updated template.\


  • Click Validate to ensure the uploaded data is in the correct format.



  • Select one or multiple user accounts from the validated list.


  • Click the Action tab and choose Reset Password.


  • A confirmation message, "Password has been reset", will be displayed.



  • Each selected employee will receive an email with a one-time password and a reset link.


  • Employees must click the reset link and set a new password.


  • Thus, the new password will be used for the next login.
