REVERTING WORKFLOW WHEN GOALS ARE UPDATED:
When goals are updated and an employee wishes to redo the review process while it is in progress, the HR Admin can revert the workflow to Step 1, clearing both the employee’s and manager’s feedback/comments. This allows them to redo their feedback inputs so that all evaluations accurately reflect the review with their updated goals and remain aligned with the process.
Notes:
1) This workflow reversion applies only when goals are updated and the workflow has progressed beyond the manager feedback stage. It does not apply to normal reversion scenarios.
2) If you need a copy of the previously submitted feedback, download the review details from the process as an HR, or ask the employee/manager to download their feedback before proceeding with the reversion and clearing process.
- Log in as an HR Admin.
- Navigate to: Admin > Revert Workflow (This section allows you to view all open process cycles and manage employee workflow reversion ).
- Choose the process cycle in which the employee is participating.
TO FIND THE EMPLOYEE:
- Use the search bar to quickly find the employee by name, or browse through the Employee Directory by clicking the ‘View Employee Directory’ link. Once you locate the user, click ‘View’ to open their details.
Note: Ensure you select the correct process cycle to avoid reverting the wrong activity.
- From the list of workflow activities, click on the specific activity you want the employee to revisit.
- Then, click the REVERT WORKFLOW button (This action will allow the employee to reopen and update the selected activity).
- Under Additional Options, click Clear Cycle Template.
- In the Choose Relationships dropdown, select Self and Manager to clear their feedback.
- Click the Revert button.
The employee will be reverted to the respective step - Self Feedback with a fresh template, allowing them to redo the review process with the updated goals.
