The PIP module helps managers support team members who need additional guidance to improve their performance. From the manager’s view, the module makes it easy to create a PIP, set clear goals, review progress, provide feedback, extend timelines, or end the plan when completed. It gives managers a structured and transparent way to track improvements, communicate expectations, and work closely with employees throughout the development process.
Following are the steps to initiate the PIP
- Log in as a manager and navigate to, Performance > Manage PIP
- Click on Create PIP and Search the employee for whom the PIP has to be initiated
- The manager has to fill in the PIP plan details and click on Set goals for PIP.


- The manager can assign the PIP attributes to the employee that have to be assessed and should select the Initiate PIP button to initiate the plan for the employee and confirm.


- After the initiation of PIP by the manager, an email notification will be triggered to the employee for "Acknowledgment", the employee has to acknowledge the PIP initiated.



- After completion of PIP acknowledgment, the email will be triggered to the Manager that the Employee has been Acknowledged and the feedback form is available for review.
- Employees and Managers can provide the rating and comments for the assigned goals in Review PIP.


- Click Save to store your feedback and Submit to finalize and complete the submission.
PIP Extensions
Managers can extend the PIP process at any time if it is approaching its deadline.
Following are the steps to extend the PIP
- Log in as Manager/HR.
- Navigate to Performance → Manage PIP.

- Use the search box to find the employee or the specific PIP plan that needs to be extended.
- Click the dropdown next to the Review PIP button and select Extend PIP.

- Select the new end date for the PIP extension.
- Click Extend to confirm.

- The PIP will be extended immediately, and an on-screen confirmation will appear.

END PIP:
Ending a PIP usually involves the following steps:
- Log in as a manager/HR and navigate to Performance > Manage PIP section where all active plans are listed.
- Use the search bar to find the specific PIP Plan you want to close.
- Next to the Review PIP button, click the dropdown menu and choose End PIP.

- Provide your final remarks, including the recommendation and any closing comments that summarize the employee’s performance during the PIP period. Confirm to Complete the Process
- Click End PIP to officially close the plan.

- Once completed, the employee will automatically receive an email notification informing them that the PIP has been concluded.
