HR administrators can update or assign individual employee relationships (such as Reporting Manager, Reviewer, or Mentor) for multiple employees at once using the Bulk Upload option.
This feature supports the uploading of any individual relationship, such as Primary Manager, L1 Manager, L2 Manager, Reviewer, etc., as applicable for your organization.
The steps to close an individual relationship in bulk :
Navigate to Admin>> Import/Export, click Import Employee Relationship Details

Step 1 :
Download the Relationship Template Excel file from the PMS.
Populate the Excel file with valid data. The mandatory fields are marked in bold—please ensure all required information is entered accurately.
Verify the data before uploading to avoid validation errors during import.
Kindly fill in the Effective To Date field to specify the date on which the relationship should be closed.Also, update the Relationship Status column as TRUE so that the system recognizes and processes the relationship closure accordingly and save the Excel template.

Note: The date format supported by the system is dd-mmm-yyyy.
Step 2:
Click Choose File next to Upload Relationship Data to browse and select the updated Excel file from your system, then click Open and click Import & Validate..The system will validate the uploaded employee relationship data.
Once the import and validation are complete, the results will display:
The total number of successfully validated records, and
The total number of error records.
If there are any error in post the validation,you can download the error file, correct the issues in the Excel sheet, and re-upload the file for validation again.
If the validation is successful without any errors, you can move to Step 3.
Step 3:
As a final step, choose the following options to complete the import process:
Update Only – Updates the existing employee relationship details without creating new records..
Kindly verify if the employee to be notified of the relationship update.
If the Enable Notification option is selected, employees whose reporting relationship has been updated will automatically receive a “Relationship Updated” email notification to their registered email ID.
Note: For employees to receive relationship addition/update notifications, the respective notifications must be enabled in the system.

Once all the steps are completed and verified, click Start to begin uploading the data.
The upload progress and completion percentage will be displayed on the screen.The system will process the data accordingly and update the relationships in the PMS.
