Locking a review period ensures that the details of the period remain fixed and cannot be modified after employees are added or the process cycle is launched. This prevents discrepancies in goal setting, assessments, and reporting.



The option  Is Lock locks the individual frequency of review


The option Enable auto lock based on end date automatically locks the individual frequency of review on the end date


The option Lock Review Period locks the display of set goals and competencies associated with the review period.


It is advisable to keep the review period unlocked during creation to allow necessary updates. Locking should only be considered in rare cases where no further changes are expected.
